Digital Dental Radiography

Ark is committed to doing all that we can to help make it easy for you to provide the best dental care possible for your pets throughout their lifetime - from puppy-hood to their senior years. Proper dental care is important throughout an animal’s life. Yearly dental check ups are important to make sure that the permanent teeth come in properly, remove any residual baby teeth which may have a difficult time falling out, monitor the amount of tarter build up and regularly remove the tarter to prevent gingivitis.

February is National Pet Dental Health Month!

Could you imagine living your entire life without ever brushing, or cleaning your teeth? Often times we introduce our loved one's to that exact scenario. Recently Dr. Maxwell was able to change the fortunes 'Sully Cracraft' a 5 year old dachshund that suffered from significant halitosis (bad breath). Dr Maxwell was able to perform a Dental prophy, and now 'Sully' can give all the kisses he wants - with out the bad breath!

Throughout the month of FEBRUARY, Ark is providing it's patients with "$100.00 Ark$" which reduces the cost of treatment related to your pet's dental health.

At Ark Animal Hospital we provide yearly dental prophylaxis at a special discount in February. This includes a full scale dental cleaning, both routine and deep cleanings, applications of a dental polymer to help save severely diseased teeth, extractions if necessary, and dental radiography. We also provide means by which to prevent tarter build up through diet, brushing and treats. This makes it easy for you to provide the best dental care possible.

Ark strongly believes that yearly dental check-ups are critical to:

  • Make sure that the permanent teeth come in properly
  • Remove any residual baby teeth which may have a difficult time falling out
  • Monitor the amount of tartar build up
  • Regularly remove the tartar to prevent gingivitis and periodontal disease.
